Celestial

Aasimon from Celestia. They are equivalent to 2e and 3e Archons, but with meaningful changes in appearance and lore; see the note about Aasimon.

Lower Celestials
Lantern Celestial – short and humanlike, they shed light through their skin; the light’s color depends on the layer of Celestia they come from and they carry big boxed lanterns alight not with fire but with a globe of light. They can transform into light for faster travel and flight.
Hound Celestial – short and stocky humans, they can materialize a big hound of solid energy. The hound is a construct controlled by the Celestial and is the color of the layer he is from.
Middle Celestials
Warden Celestial – tall and broad-shouldered, those archons have a carapace that covers their body and forms a shield-like protuberance over their left forearm. Due to its metallic hue, the carapace is often mistaken for armor, but removing it kills the Celestial. Human-like, though their shape is difficult to discern under the armour-like carapace.
Tome Celestial – extremely tall and thin, bony with long limbs. They carry big tomes, with a content that depends on its task. Unlike other species of Celestial, they are not bound to a specific book and can replace it for a different book over their lifetime.
Sword Celestial – mostly human, but they have swords in place of their forearms. This makes it difference to perform many tasks, making them very specialized members of a big group.
Higher Celestials
Trumpet Celestial – a lean human, they carry big trumpets and speak with musical voices – either thunderous or flute-like.
Throne Celestial – they look like huge humans… but have no face. They are linked to their own majestic suits of armour, that they can materialize and freely reshape according to their needs.
